How Viki picks a layout for your question
Viki looks at the scale of the question and what you need: advice, an analysis or a development over time. A quick question gets one card, a do-or-don’t decision the five-card cross, a major life fork the Celtic Cross. Want a specific layout? Just name it — your choice always wins.
The criteria
- Scale: an everyday matter, or something that will still matter in a year.
- Type of request: advice, an analysis of the situation, or a forecast of development.
- A fork: if the question contains «or», the layout must know how to weigh.
- Time span: «today» and «by the end of the year» call for different spreads.
Typical matches
- «What should I keep in mind today?» → one card.
- «What’s going on and what do I do?» → three cards.
- «Agree or not?» → the five-card cross.
- «How will it unfold over the coming months?» → the seven-card horseshoe.
- «Relocation, career change, a long relationship» → the Celtic Cross.
Overriding the choice
Name the layout directly: «do a Celtic Cross», «three cards are enough», «one card, keep it short». Viki won’t argue.
If you’re unsure
Ask her: «which layout fits my question?». She’ll propose one and explain why — and you agree or pick another.
Or name the layout yourself — Viki won’t argue.
