Can you ask about other people

In short

Technically you can, but there’s little use in it. A spread about someone else’s thoughts yields a pretty story and zero actionable steps. It’s far more productive to turn the question onto yourself: not «what does he think», but «what’s happening between us and what do I do about it».

Why other-people spreads work poorly

You can’t verify the answer and you can’t act on it. Even if the cards say «he has doubts» — what will you do with that? Information without action turns into anxiety.

And the other person in a spread always comes out the way you imagine them. Cards reflect your projection too.

How to reframe

  • Instead of «what does he feel about me» → «what is happening between us now».
  • Instead of «is she lying to me» → «what should I pay attention to in this relationship».
  • Instead of «will my colleague get fired» → «how should I carry myself in this situation at work».

Where the line runs

A child’s or a parent’s chart is fine: that’s care, and you’re part of it. Dissecting an ex, a neighbour or a boss «just to see» is peeping — symbolic, but peeping.

What Viki will say

No lectures and no hard refusals. She’ll gently offer to turn the question onto you — because that’s where the useful answer lives. If you insist, she’ll lay the cards anyway.

How it looks in the chat
What does my ex think about me?
I can lay that out, but fair warning: the spread will show your picture of him rather than his thoughts — and there’ll be nothing to do with the answer. Let me instead look at what still holds you in this story and how to walk out of it. That usually helps more.
Turn the question around

That way the spread yields action, not anxiety.
