Sigils and religion: common doubts
This is a personal question, and we won’t answer it for you. If the practice creates an inner conflict — don’t do it: a symbol you’re wary of won’t work by definition, because you’ll be looking at it with tension.
Where the doubt comes from
Most often it sounds like: «isn’t this a sin?». Different traditions answer differently, and we will neither argue with anyone’s faith nor bend to it. Our job is to describe what happens; the conclusion stays yours.
What happens, practically speaking
A sigil is a way of folding a phrased intention into a visual image and keeping it before your eyes. The mechanics are closer to a written goal in a visible place than to a rite. That doesn’t prove there’s nothing more to it — it’s simply the part that can be described.
If the conflict is there
Don’t do it. Seriously: a practice done with the feeling of violating something important takes more than it gives. Viki has plenty of tools without symbols — spreads, the natal chart, numerology, conversation.
If there’s no conflict but there are questions
Ask straight in the chat. «What’s this stave built from», «what does this rune mean», «why the activation» — Viki answers to the point and doesn’t drift into fog. Clear mechanics usually dissolve half the worry.
The general caveat
The service is for entertainment and learning, and intended for adults. It replaces neither a spiritual advisor, nor a doctor, nor a psychologist — and doesn’t claim to.
She answers to the point, no fog.
