A relationship spread: what to ask

In short

Ask about what depends on you: not «does he love me» but «what’s happening between us and what should I watch». The best schemes are three cards «me — him — us» or the five-card cross. Read the answer as a description of the arrangement, not a verdict on the relationship.

Working wordings

  • «What’s happening between us now, and what matters for me to understand?»
  • «What keeps us from agreeing?»
  • «What do I bring into this relationship, and what does he bring?»
  • «Where is this heading if nothing changes?»
  • «Should I make the first move this month?»

Which layout to take

Three cards «me — the other — us» give a fast picture of the arrangement. The five-card cross fits weighing a decision: stay or go. The Celtic Cross is for a long story with many layers.

How to read

  1. Start from your own position. What the card says about you is the part you can actually influence.
  2. Read the other’s position as «how this role works in the pair», not as mind-reading.
  3. Read the «us» position as the quality of the bond itself: alive, frozen, smouldering.
  4. Only then look at the forecast.

About honesty

A relationship spread most often shows what the person already knows but won’t say aloud. Viki will state a «more likely no» plainly — she doesn’t soften for comfort. Worth knowing beforehand.

Add the natal chart

After the spread you can ask: «and what does my natal chart say about relationships?». Viki reads the 7th house, Venus, Mars and current transits — together it’s fuller than the spread alone.

How it looks in the chat
A relationship spread: three cards, me — him — us
Here. You — the Queen of Swords: clear, but guarded; you keep distance with words. He — the Page of Cups: sincere but unripe, can’t do depth. Us — the Two of Swords: a mutual «let’s not talk about it». The bond is alive, but you’ve both chosen not to speak. Shall we see who finds it easier to start?
