How to dictate your question by voice
Record an ordinary voice note right in the chat — Viki transcribes it and answers. It works in both WhatsApp and Telegram and is part of the free tier. She always replies in text: Viki doesn’t speak out loud.
When it beats typing
- Driving or walking.
- When the question is long and tangled and you can’t be bothered to write it out.
- When dictating birth data: date, time and city are easier said than typed.
- When you’re emotional — a voice note comes out more honest than an edited text.
How to speak so it transcribes well
- Talk at a normal pace, no rush.
- Pronounce names, cities and numbers clearly — that’s where transcription slips.
- Don’t fear pauses: they don’t hurt.
- If the transcript came out wrong, just type a correction — Viki gets it from context.
Why the answer arrives as text
A chart reading or a spread is structure: positions, degrees, lists. Listening to that is awkward; reading it, scrolling back, copying — easy. So voice works one way: you speak, Viki writes.
If the voice note didn’t get through
Sometimes the messenger fails to upload the file. Send it again or duplicate it as text — Viki will say if nothing arrived.
Just record a voice note in the chat — Viki transcribes it.
