The sigil doesn’t resonate — what to do

In short

Say so directly — the symbol gets redone. Resonance here isn’t a whim but a working requirement: you simply won’t look at an unpleasant picture, and the anchor won’t set. Most often it’s one of three things: the graphics don’t please, the phrasing was off, or the wrong format was chosen.

Three causes

  1. Graphics. Too angular, too soft, too intricate. Say what’s wrong — she’ll redo it.
  2. Phrasing. The symbol was built exactly to the words, and the words were wrong. Here the intention needs redoing, not the picture.
  3. Format. Sometimes the task begged for a stave and a sigil got built, or vice versa.

How to say it

  • «Too intricate, I want simpler»
  • «It doesn’t resonate, try another composition»
  • «I think I phrased it wrong — let’s redo the intention»
  • «Maybe a stave rather than a sigil?»

The sign it’s the phrasing

You look at the symbol and think «pretty, but it’s not about me». Then the picture is innocent: built correctly, just to the wrong thing. Step back and rephrase.

On the limit

Redos count toward the shared counter: five a day free. So it makes sense to refine the intention in words first, and only then ask for a new drawing.

If nothing resonates at all

Perhaps sigils simply aren’t your tool — and that’s fine. Some people click with spreads, some with the natal chart. No need to force yourself.

How it looks in the chat
Pretty, but somehow not mine
Let’s figure out what exactly. Is it the picture you dislike, or the feeling that the symbol isn’t about you?
More the second
Then the problem is the phrasing, not the graphics. We wrote «I find new clients». Maybe it’s actually about not being afraid to write first? Those are different intentions.
Redo the symbol

Say what’s wrong — we’ll build it anew.
