The same card came up again
With 78 cards in the deck, repeats are ordinary arithmetic, not a sign from above. But if a card returns a third time within a couple of weeks, look closer: most likely the theme it names is still unresolved.
Arithmetic first
Across 78 cards, a repeat within a month is statistically near-certain. The first coincidence is just a coincidence — don’t inflate it.
When to look closer
- The card arrived a third time in two-three weeks.
- It returns on days that feel alike.
- You catch yourself thinking «not again».
- The same card shows up in your spreads meanwhile.
What to do
Ask directly: «this card has come three times this month — what am I not seeing?». Viki pulls up the past occurrences — she keeps the log — and looks for what those days shared.
The usual mechanics
A repeating card typically points not at an event but at an unmade decision. Something is postponed, and the theme keeps knocking. Once the decision is made, the card tends to drop out of rotation.
A hint
On Pro the log is searchable by card: «show all days the Moon came up». Sometimes the pattern is visible at a glance.
Viki pulls the past days and finds the common thread.
