Reading a week of cards for the trend

In short

Ask for a summary: «show my cards for the past week». Single days often look random, but seven cards in a row almost always form a plot — a dominant suit, repeating numbers or one theme that keeps returning.

What to look at

  1. Suits. Four Cups in a week — a week of feelings and relationships. A pile of Swords — thoughts, talks and tension.
  2. Major arcana. More than two or three means something’s running that depends little on you.
  3. Numbers. Several Fives — a crisis week. Aces — something’s starting.
  4. One repeating card — the theme is knocking; there’s a separate guide on that.

How to ask

  • «Show my week’s cards in one summary»
  • «What do this week’s cards share?»
  • «Which suit dominated?»

Why it matters

A week is the smallest stretch where movement shows. A day speaks of mood; a week of process. And weekly summaries are usually where a person first notices the cards are actually about something.

On Pro it’s automatic

Here: Five of Swords, Two of Swords, Knight of Swords, Eight of Cups, Three of Swords, Queen of Swords, the Moon. Five Swords out of seven — a week of words and decisions with lots of talk and little clarity. The Moon at the end says the fog hasn’t lifted. Recognise the week?
