Psychomatrix vs the Matrix of Destiny
These are two different methods. The psychomatrix (Pythagorean square) sorts the date’s digits into nine cells and describes a person’s qualities. The Matrix of Destiny is a modern system built on Tarot arcana laid out on an octagram. Viki computes the psychomatrix; the Matrix of Destiny is temporarily switched off.
The psychomatrix
Works with digits one through nine, sorted into a three-by-three table. Answers «how is this person built»: how much will, energy, memory, inclination to work. The method is attributed to the Pythagorean tradition and took its present shape in the 20th century.
The Matrix of Destiny
A young system, formed in the 2000s. It uses not abstract digits but the 22 major Tarot arcana arranged on an eight-point scheme. It answers rather «what tasks and scenarios are laid in», working with ancestral lines and karmic themes.
The main differences
- Source of meanings: numbers for the psychomatrix, Tarot arcana for the Matrix of Destiny.
- Form: a three-by-three table versus an octagram.
- Focus: a person’s qualities versus tasks and scenarios.
- Age of the method: decades versus a few years.
What Viki offers
The Pythagorean square — yes, free, as an image with a reading. The Matrix of Destiny — temporarily off: Victoria is refining the method and will return it when she’s satisfied with the result. We won’t promise it now.
Which method is «more correct»
A question without an answer. They’re different description languages, and the one to choose is the one that speaks about you most clearly to you.
The psychomatrix — free, from one date.
